Leaf peeping season should be a fun drive there!

Palmer will be closer but I think this is going to be a better track.

Analogmike - did you see who was part of the management team here "Stephan Condodemetraky"
How can people still want to do anything with this guy?

Everyone do your home work on him

I heard that he's no longer involved. Incorrect information?

The schiester has been out for a long time.

My foliage comment wasn't about the change now, it's about the extra 2 hours it will take to get there during the fall.

Got a tour of the track today. Drove the whole track with the exception of T10, where they're still blasting ledge.

All I can is this place is impressive. Huge elevation, long climbs, big descents with fast sweepers. This is going to be a big boy track with lots of pucker factor. Runoffs look well engineered. Can't wait to get on it. A few shots, none of which can convey the elevation.

Spec boys are going to love half the track and hate the other half. Bring horsepower.

1) Upper straight between T5 & T6

2) T6

3) Looking down at T7, T8 sweeper

4) Clearing T10 ledge (top of track)

5) Looking down at T12 runoff

Has a lot of promise. Delays are normal, they had a very snowy winter.

Let's hope it gets completed this year.

This will be a reason to come north :-)

I am not a fan of this new country club genre of race tracks. They build them with too many turns, not wide enough and little to no runoff.

Once build and approved corners can be taken out / modified and tracks can be widened ;-)

They're a month behind schedule due to the depth and duration of the ground freeze last winter. Suspect we'll see first laps sometime in October/November and everything buttoned down for a full 2016.

Understood. I went in expecting to be disappointed but was pretty blown away. This track is going to have great flow and it's going to be fast and hairy. There's generous runoff where needed (T1, T6, & T15). MMC it ain't - trust me.
