Default Trailex Open trailer - price check?

Guys,
What is the recent wisdom on Trailex pre-owned pricing? I have a '97 CT-7541 that we used for trailering our 911s, which have since gone bye bye. Tire rack, longer ramps, etc. Always maintained and stored inside.

What is it worth today?

Thanks,
Mitch

The going rate seems to be about $4k for one in good condition. They hold their value well.

I sold my 93 in 2012 for $3500. Original price in 93 was $3800. Gave it some updates like all LED lighting and had to replace an axle during 17 years of use. It paid for about 40% of my new one.

Agreed, having been in the market as a buyer for open and enclosed, 4K range is the market. Condition and age of tires (all 5) and brakes is one factor, as no one will tow on old tires / brakes, so either you replace and add value or buyer replaces and looks for discount. GLWS, priced right will go quick. YMMV.

I have one roughly same vintage that is in PERFECT condition. New lights, coupler, winch, jack, taping, repainted axle etc.. I would want a minimum of $5K for it (I'm not interested in selling).

IMO if you keep them in good shape and replace any wear items they're going to hold their value very well and even a relatively nice one of that vintage is worth at least $4K or more. The new ones are almost exactly the same (but cost a grand plus more) and the wear parts are cheap and easy to replace.

Well at $6517 new plus tax and plus shipping and being 16 years old 3.5 to 4 K probably is a good price. Any extras : tool box $ Tire rack $ front shield $ winch $ spare tie $ all adds up. Mine is a CT 8045 (Not for sale) maybe some day when I go to an enclosed trailer ….
