Default SoCal Coach Recommendations?

Fairly new to DE and considering hiring a coach on occasion. Any insights and recommendations would be appreciated.

Elliot Skeer, Rene Villeneuve, Randy Buck, Craig Stanton.

All pros at coaching, not just driving.

I really want to validate you for thinking about coaching and not waiting till you've learned some bad habits (who me?). IMHO coaching is the most cost effective modification/investment you can make. Laws of primacy and all that stuff....

Many big name pro racers moonlight as coaches but can be quite expensive. I think just starting in DE events you could benefit from one of the local clubs and their respective DE or racing schools. I'm associated with POC and believe we offer a great value with our DE/racing programs. But if you really want a local, big name coach I'd choose Craig Stanton. He excels at coaching and his comprehensive approach covers all facets of the driving experience....

Craig Stanton +1000! I also had Chip Romer coach me during a POC event. If at a POC event I also recommend Mr. Jim Duncan.

We've known Elliot Skeer since he was karting with LAKC and is very technical... very young guy, but mature beyond his years. Craig Stanton is excellent and very positive motivator and can jump into any car and be a great teacher, been doing it for years.

Well shoot, I usually just read Rennlist but I guess it's time to make an account!
Southern California has some great drivers and coaches, I certainly don't have the reputation of Craig and James (which are WELL deserved!!) But I've done my best to learn from their coaching practices and throw my experience into it as well. Thank you guys for the shout!

Thanks to all for the input. I've secured a coach for this weekend and we shall see how it goes.

Which track are you at this weekend? Would love to know who you used and how it worked out. PM would be great following event.
I'm new to DE also and have been taking advantage of the (so far) excellent instructors with POC & PCA SDR. Would be very interested in a dedicated coach.
