Tracktime at TWS 12-13 April with Chin
Extra track time.
I am signed up for Chin Motorsports event at TWS this weekend coming and just saw the roster today. Only 4 cars in the advanced group.
They have a 3 run group format 30 on 1 hour off rotates all day.
That's like private rental but cost is only 200.00 for the two day event with a 50.00 one time membership fee.
Not affiliated in any way just some great practice time.
If your interested you know what to do.

Seriously though, $250 for a two day event at TWS is a steal. I've heard good things about Chin and you may be able to "double dip" on the $50 fee if you try for the Chin event at COTA near the end of the year.

My understanding is that this will be the last event at TWS as they are closing their gates and the land will be developed for a subdivision. (Like there is no place else in Texas to put up a subdivision. ) Can anybody confirm?

Incorrect. TWS will be in full operation at least through the end of 2014 and likely beyond.

So this event is nowhere close to the last one at TWS, but the end is coming.
Paving paradise and putting in little boxes made of ticky tacky. :-(

When I saw this thread, I was going to sign up with Chin and go. Then I found out that it's parent's weekend at Texas A&M, and there are no hotel rooms to be had. Darn!

There is no real traffic. You could also back up your route until you find someplace.
