So they produce the no.911 car to serve a penalty incurred by the no. 912 car and caught on video.
Maybe other teams should try that in other series...

Knuckle Heads! Someone or group of people in the control box need to go aways and serve some penalties

They lost my viewership when they decided it took an hour to remove the Whelen DP which had coasted up the escape road, in a blatant attempt to ruin the end of the race. I spent almost five years as volunteer race crew for two teams in Grand Am so I am no stranger to officiating incompetence, but this event brought it to a whole new level.

Well I will say that depsite the screw ups and mis-communication there has never been so much interest in sports car racing...could this be a case of "no publicity is bad publicity"? I mean, how many people will tune in just to see what IMSA screws up next...and then possibly become sports car freaks after watching the race? Sometimes these things work in funny ways...Either way Ii am sure they will eventuially straighten it out and TUDOR Racing will be competently run.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't a team or two quit the series after the first race of the year? Although they didn't say it directly, the implication was that this series was not professionally run and they caught some flack. Look like their decision was right to leave.

Turner is signed up for a pair of street races to "sample the waters," but not as a substitute for TUSC. BMW has that specified in the contract. The fact that the manufacturer-paid drivers are contesting the PWC rounds IS significant, though.
I do remember this same whinging going on with the technical aspects of PWC over the last two years, so no series is immune.
Remember Ryan Dalziel winning in a Porsche for TruSpeed and getting thrown out for some petty splitter dimension issue at the PWC round at St. Pete last year? They didn't come back, even though they had a championship caliber car, driver and team...
Pro racing is no fun. That's why I'm glad I don't do to much with it...
