Pruett's a very smart guy, not a gossip mongerer...
I'm sure he pitched his subsequent interview to and with Scott Atherton as a way to "come clean." Not sure that is how it came out, though.

What amazes me is that, even after their Daytona 24 debacle, these "professionals" appear to be so full of themselves that they keep firing magazine after magazine of bullets into their own feet...
