Van,

The car would not hook up in the left hander and even on Hoosiers the right side pressures were 4 lb lower then the left side. Adjusting them up helped. I don't spend much time at Lrp so I think it's all me. I was messing with the wheel way too much.

Frank, hankook's are $975 vs. $1450 for R6's so the third set is free. I think they are better on long tracks and could not really tell the diff at summit point. I'm going to bring a set of sticker r6 and z217 to WG for a better comparison. For a new racer on a budget, I would take a look as they appear to last longer as well. They can be back ordered but they tend to arrive faster then quoted.

Hey folks, new member here.
Frank, nice race.
I was in the I-prepared yellow cayman, second in class.
You were hauling.
Will you be in COTA this week by any chance?

Welcome! I meant to come over to introduce myself. It was definitely some great racing. I'm just glad someone lent me their rain tires at the last minute so I could put down a qualifying time and not start at the back of the grid.

My next race will be Watkins Glen.

Does anyone have any contact info for other photographers that were there? I'd love to get some pictures of my car.

I have three different views of Katz wheelies up the hill, sent to me, not mine, but nothing on anyone else. BTW, one of them has gone viral!

First of all; it's supposed to be a split start. No error on your part, Rob, but your pace car was right in there with the Boxsters! Should be half a lap back.
Tire issues aside, your car sounds great and really lays it down.

Here is my White Sprint 1 video. Great racing at the front of SPB and I got a 2nd in class and overall. Keith Peare got a great run off the downhill on lap 2 and gets by me going into Big Bend. Then its 15 + laps of nose to tail.

Sprint 2 went better for me. Got a better start and ran away until the SP3 boys catch me at the end of the race. 2nd overall and 1st in class! Super happy with how the weekend went.

Great racing with you all!

Mike,
I lost my splitter early in the day. Lost my splitter on the practice day 2 weeks before as well . I get the same height with or without. Those splitters are so small I am not sure they do a thing.

Deciding now if I even replace it or not

I think it has to do with set up. Scotto and I have very close set ups. Savenor has a very different set up. We need to find out his set up
