Randy Pobst put this up on his Facebook wall with the comment, "leave me a car width and an inch, that's all I ask". Randy isn't racing. He was admiring the courtesy shown by these two guys, neither of whom punted the other.

V8 Supercars and DTM is the best racing in the world. I miss the TV coverage. Use to get them on Speed. Now fox 1 is my only channel and they don't show either of them. Screw fox sports!

Those guys almost never take each other out. They are true sportsmen. They also get a guaranteed penalty if the crash out a competitor. Great drovers.

If we only had it here, American motorsports would be different altogether....

I thought maybe the little visit Aussie with NASCAR would get them thinking but I think they saw it as a competition not an add to NASCAR...who wouldn't.... Need an outsider to bring it here.

+1 Great format, great racing, great drivers.

How can you go wrong with V8's putting power to the rear wheels via a sequential? Look like a blast to drive.

Racing at its best when you see intense action like this. Maybe new F1 season will have some good scraps as the new drivetrains mean having to put the power down with more thought than in the old NA cars.

V8 Supercars is an amazing series. I watch every one I can find, starting to know who all the racers are. Very cool!!

Classic from Lowndes:
"I was actually watching the big screen watching these two guys going at it.."

ha!

Losing because of an unforced error hurts.

Why wouldn't NASCAR consider a format like this? They could have 2-3 30 minute sprint races on a Sunday with 20 minutes in between to work on the cars. Instead of a 5 hour race where no one races until the last 3 laps.
