Very cool, thanks for the heads up. Whats the over under on price? Newman ownership gives it another $50K in value? More?

Hard to put an estimate on this one. The market is very volatile on the upside at the moment. The Newman connection has to add serious $$$$$

This car will bring stupid money for the provenance even though the pictures show it quite molested by modernization.

It will be interesting. No doubt it will go for big money, but it's not period correct or a proper restoration.

Great minds think alike?
If they wanted to, they could have used modern "correct" components. There are great slide valve and twin plug distributors available these days. Didn't need to backdate it to carbs and go COP with the ignition.

Too bad that they had and messed up one of his very early Datsun race cars . I sure would have wanted that for much smaller money .
