Glen that was a really good price, I built a i7 with 8gig, 500meg hd ATI 7870 for around that. I'm looking at adding a surround sound card and speakers, researching cheap solutions.

I was limited to a pci express slot for my sound card (to run the buttkickers) given the limited slots on the asrock motherboard. I picked this up on sale for $59. Works great.

Glen, thanks I will look at that one, I did order the buttkicker gamer, should come next week.
What did you get for speakers? I've been looking for something small to mount around the rig.

I don't have surround sound yet... let me know what you come up with. I have a two-speaker set-up with a sub. I guess I just need to add rear speakers.

I love my big Logitech 5.1 system... Almost substitutes for the BK! Hahaha!

My only suggestion for a speaker system is to get one with adjustable bass on the system itself. I used to have a heck of a time switching games and dealing with the change in bass.

The Logitech z506 for $70 or the z906 for $330 (all prices Amazon) is what I have recommended with good results.

I don't recall the part no but I have a 5.1 Logitech setup and it sounds great in iRacing.

Unfortunately I hardly ever use it because the wife complains...

Finally got it all working! This is harder than it seems like it would be!! Are you supposed to get feedback through the wheel?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Mike, you should have FF through your G27. Have you installed the Logitech drivers?
