Default Dan Jacobs built 3.0 engine for sale

Since I always do whatever Gary does, I'm selling my D stock motor. Moving to E.

Complete rebuild in 2007 ($14K) and top end done in Aug 2011 ($8k). All the best parts available that are allowed.

Results speak for themselves:

http://www.rennpoints.com/driverhistory/?racer=94

Won 13 of last 15 races and usually beat most of the E cars. Engine has a track record at NJ and a 1:00.08 at LRP. Bolt it in and go win some races.

Complete engine (no headers). Also have harness and CDI available if needed.

$8500

Can be used as a street engine as well. Located in CT.

PM if interested

I would like to say I scared you guys out of D but since your going to uber-competitive E, that is clearly not the case. I'm thinking of doing the same thing but I think I'll wait til I need a rebuild and do it then.

And here I just bought a D car to race with you guys. lol
I think I will just race in E without changing the engine.
See you at PCA 48Hours Sebring.

Yep good idea. You can always "upclass" without changing a thing (except the decals on the car).

But there are also a few things that you could easily do to a D car to race as Prepared E:
-A bump steer kit is really easy to add.
-Prepared cars can now also raise the strut spindles for even better geometry and shock travel.
-With all of the adapters available now, it's relatively easy to add big (ie real) brakes and rotors.

I did have a couple of "extracurriculum excursions" on a few of those T-bolt corners..... but not nearly enough to name them after me..........
