Some love for the old dudes
The repave was good for a second or more.

Not in any car I have driven more like a .5 sec gain with the repave @ LRP. Like any track if your not outside your comfort zone your probable going too slow.

F-troop ran in "F", which would be the current "E" class. I believe Humpfer had the hottest euro 3.0 car back then, but the northeast "F Troop" guys all ran 3.2s before the change of the chip rule. Mike Ellis and Greg Merrill ran prepared US 3.0s, but didn't quite have the top end I don't believe. Was some of the best racing I've ever seen in PCA. Unless you want to go way back and talk about the old GT3S class... Trombley and Bavaro, or maybe Pablo has some videos of his car when Savenor would go at it with Zitzmann? Great times to be a kid at the track with his Dad...
Hupfer's a hack...Humpfer, I like it...I'm going to start calling him that.

If it happened before 2004... it doesn't count(not on Rennpoints)

Agreed, in most cars there is very little difference. We are just getting faster as our cars and tires improve.

No one has bought this yet Sean?? Nuts! It's costing me close to what your asking to fully rebuild my "new" 3.2 without the engine core cost included!! A bolt-in, 190 RWHP race winning engine with very low hours? If anyone has a tired motor, you are waaaaay better off selling it as a core and dropping this in!
