you picked a great winter to build this! keeping your focus away from the cold of the NE and thinking about spring and track time. Rick very nice design and excellent masterful build house doing it!

curious what suspension mods you have done? is this just going to be a track car, or are you planning on racing?

I love it!!!

I don't recall any of the liveries including the series names or non-matching car type names. The liveries are not direct copies of the liveries they are honoring.

It's just weird putting "Supercup" on the side of a car that doesn't look like a "Supercup" car and is not even close to being related.

Looking good Rick!
If YOU like the Supercup on there, then keep it. Then again I have Hello Kitty and paw prints all over my cars.
Spencer does great work. You're gonna love that car.

Sorry I was a little cranky last night; it was kind of like hearing someone say they think my kid is funny looking.
I actually asked Dan the same question - he pointed out that the Supercup history is over multiple model lines, not just the 911.
When I conceived of this project, 1 inspiration was the Interseries use of a traditional Porsche racing livery. Because the donor car is Meteor Gray I just couldn't find the right one. This one worked best for me.

I think it looks great! Though it would look a little better with my name as the driver!

They are not negative comments...the graphics look great. It the word that seems out of place.......replace "Supercup" with "Cayman" in the same font or something that would "fit" and all would be perfect.

That works too; I just loved the idea of a tribute car. The obvious ones were already taken, so here we are.
Thanks about the build - Spencer and his team have been great.

I like tribute Porsche cars. We had a 917 design on one of our car, now it's the Boss theme on both cars, and one is coming off of a 944 Rally car as raced by the Almeras brothers... I would not be bothered at all by the Supercup on the side of any Porsche car. I nearly made the Mobil 1 GT1 theme on my 924... So...

I'm sure your kids are no more funny looking than you are...

Go racy and do what makes you happy!

Maybe I'll put a Supercup banner across *my* children!
