Not sure how tear offs compare to 3m paint film. I have clearplex. Not cheap and not so easy to get a perfect installation. But a whole lot better than a badly pitted windshield

Congrats, car is looking fantastic. Those wheels will really pop with that darker color and really pull the car together.
It's going to be hard not giving the full blown race car treatment to my R one day. Probably when I get tired of blowing up M96s (knock on wood)!

Since there has been some interest in the windshield tear-offs, here are a few pictures, showing the windshield before, during, and after the application at Spencer's shop (note a bunch of very cool cars in the backgrounds).
First pic is the before, next to last the after from outside (obscured a bit by the glare from the shop lights), last is the after from the inside.
I need to find out how to clean the protected windshield next.

Looks great Rick. Spencer has the tearoffs on the Pawxster. They are barely noticeable but I could perceive some distortion. For the VAST majority of people this is not a problem but I'm a guy who cleans his glasses about 10 times every day (i.e. I'm very fussy about optics).
I'll be making another trip down in the coming weeks to either pick up my FM or spend a day there putting on the new livery. I'll let you know (again).

First look at the finished graphics, which were designed and cut by Dan Porter of Utopia Design/MagnaGrafik Ltd in Cincinnati. Applied by SST.
Forgelines will show in a later pic; these are the stock wheels that will be used for rains.
I couldn't be happier with this car or the build experience.

Uncertain - need to get a day under our belt (with Spencer; not DE but I suspect it will be an education); after that, probably Cups at Watkins Glen early May. That would be perfect as it is 2 days of almost open track with no students.
