A lesson for you that are new to slicks
This is me, about 1.5 minutes into my outlap. First lap of the day, ambient temp about 10 degrees Celcius, driving gently to warm up the engine. Cold tyres.
The slicks have about 3 hours of use on them, and a few heat cycles.
There is a big amount of water at a certain point on the track so I cross it very gently. Look what happens after passing the water and pushing the accelerator slightly. Mind you, the wheels were not in the wet anymore. This was on the dry part with maybe a bit of moist left on the tyre.
Cost me my splitter
Didn't hold me from running without issues the rest of the day though.

Well at least it wasn't on pit out...
A tightly sprung car on cold slicks will bite you fast.
Kinda a right of passage for newbie cup drovers...I think we've all been there....

The tires were not in the wet anymore, but were still wet. Luckily it was only a gentle swing into the grass and happy you continued on your day.

1. your seat looks wicked loose. i know there is some play we'll see in vids but given how gingerly you were going around, i think its moving around WAY too much
2. why no gloves? hans seat, cup car, slicks, and no gloves? fire, broken glass,, maybe the car rolls and you have to climb out through fire, oil or debris.
me? i dress for bear every single time i get into any race car, whatever the HP or conditions , race or otherwise.

btw, and call me crazy, the spin wasnt necessarily the tires. look at your hand position when you went to throttle, you didnt have the wheel unwound at all, it was pointed right, you went to throttle when it shoudl have been unwound already and you spun.
you had 80% wheel and 70% throttle. > 100.

Do you think i was building up throttle to accelerate out of that corner? I just gave it a little bit of gas to stop slowing down, it was my outlap, remember, I only drove for like 1.5 minutes since I left the pitlane, I still was warming up the car. I barely touched the accelerator. You can hear the revs going up because the tyres start spinning. It wasn't your typical "accelerate out of the corner" thing. I know how to combine accelerator and steering wheel position. It was just cruising along.
Just wanted to show that a cold slick is a lot more slippery than one might expect.
Here is a vid from later that day, in case you might doubt

I know, no gloves, and I did not put on my fire resistant underwear either! Luckily I didn't die that day.
Let's not get into that discussion, shall we? When you do a trackday in your 991 Carrera S wearing jeans and a long-sleeve nobody says a thing. When you do the same in a Cup car suddenly you are a complete retard (on the same track). Where do you draw the line? It's not exactly Spa Francorchamps or Monza either, speedwise. 2nd gear corners and all that.

Well the thing is:
it wasn't my first time on slicks
it wasn't my first time on used slicks
it wasn't my first time in cold weather conditions
it wasn't my first time with that car
it wasn't my first time with that car on used slicks on that track
I knew I had to be careful, and I was (I could post the first part of the lap too, but you would all fall asleep waiting until I get to the point where it happened ) yet I still got caught out.
