Default SP996 Race car for sale

I am selling my 2001 SP996 car. Bought a Boxster and don't need two cars. Complete build details and photos can be sent off-line. Car is in super condition and has new 3.4L crate motor March 2012 and only a few events on the motor. Car built to PCA SP996 rules and has current log book for PCA, NASA and SCCA. Car has podium positions in all three series. Car is ready to race tomorrow. Three set of wheels/tires and one with brand new BFG R1 tires. Asking $50,000. Make me a reasonable offer !! Car is located in Houston Texas.

My asking price is reduced to $58,000 for a race ready perfectly maintained SP996 car with a new Porsche crate motor in March 2012. I have all receipts. Car was built and maintained by Steiner Racing in Houston. I have two cars and just do not need both. Car is located in Houston Texas.

Thank you Guy !!! It is an outstanding example of a SP996 build. All the right things have been done, car is very competitive, I have every receipt of the build and maintenance. I made the mistake of adding up all the costs and holy crap .... I am choking at this price... advice to anyone.... never add up what you actually spent... just enjoy the fun your having. I have two cars and can't keep both.... wife says one must go !

I keep asking myself the same question... essentially got the SPB donor and want to play with it for awhile. No room in the garage for two race cars.

Masochist who wants to add up the receipts for a SPB build.
