Nothing is stagnant......I'd be surprised if the field doesn't grow. Besides, one could presumably convert to an I-class car pretty easily (maybe it is H, but I think it is I). You've got folks like Goldcrest and Chris Smith Racing close to you who could probably do whatever would be needed for that in a few days.

These cars can easily be made to run in GTB1.

Well there you go. Those have recently been the second largest fields behind E from what I recall.

I'm digging this car, but then I see the number which was my (somewhat ill-fated) motocross number years ago! Looks really nice, though.

Your right Francois, would just hate running around with no one to play with. Gtb1 would be better and it would be a good battle b/w a ton of caymans

I have seen this car and its as advertized. noone could have done a more thorough job on the conversion. If i had room in the budget this year i would snap it up. if its still on the table when we get ready i will definitely add it to my collection. Out of town buyers should rest assured.

There is about 18 drivers right now that I know of that are in some stage of a SP996. Building, buying or racing. I really think the field of SP996 will double in 2014. We have had 7 or 8 at some races already.
4 or more of us have done this year:
Sebring
Road Atlanta
NOLA
COTA
TWS
Road America

and plan 2 more races this year including a PBOC race.

The car can run in:
PCA: H, I, GTB1, SP996 or GT4
NASA: GTS3
PBOC
SCCA

I tried to give him my money for it this weekend at TWS but he wouldn't take it.

I did get a cool ride in it on Sunday morning though, absolutely free of charge.

Kidding aside, Mike is a very nice fellow.
