LRP Club Race 2013..............

In car video distorts how incidents like this look.
When the overtaking car goes into the braking zone he is probably 8-10 car lengths behind the blue car.
So the blue car, who probably looked at the camera car and thought he was clear, did not see Superman coming with his awesome late braking maneuver from 8-10 car lengths and passing 2 cars.
If this is the same guy who was jumping the starts....wow, you have some special "talent".

So let's get it straight, if you rear end someone in the pits because the front car decides to slam on their brakes you get a 13, but if you hit a car in front of you, on the track, because you divebomb them and then run out of talent you don't get a 13.....
Can someone explain?.....

And warming up your tires should be reserved for yellow opening laps and well out on the track. Just Saying. Also You should not be out there pacing/blocking the field during the opening green lap that led to another stupid $$$$ cup crash.

I remember in my first club race in my '73, back in '98, when you passed me in the wet in the lefthander you gave me a BEEP to let me know you were there, I appreciated it!!!
As to a car getting rear-ended going into the first turn, you are supposed to warm your tires and brakes at slow speeds on the out lap, especially when the track is dirty with speedy dry from a previous accident and the track is under yellow. The official saw the rear facing video ten times (and kept a copy) and had no question of fault. It's just that damn target on my car that keeps causing trouble.

I was admiring that exact car in the Paddock. Too bad about the incident. Makes me feel good about the run group I was in.
