Funk is a hard bastard to get around....I sure tried. The second fastest guy in his class, Jim Scott, is 75 years old!

That last sprint of the weekend was great to watch, the first four in formation right to the end, tearing through traffic. Funk withstood pressure the whole time.

I'm still trying to figure out why Hudson Champlain Region feels it's a good idea to steal my pre-paid entry fee for Cups and Saucers when it's obvious the event wasn't full and I, as an honest Porsche Club DE Instructor that donates my time and my life to the CLUB (this IS a National club, no?) has a real life problem (blown engine) and to add to my financial problem they just say "it's the board decision, screw you". The "it's the way it is" doesn't fly with me. I give back by instucting and risking my life, been doin it for a few years. I ask for some consideration when I have a problem and am told to F off, the "BOARD" makes those decisions? Miata's bekon.
As you are an instructor, at least some kind of credit for you toward a future event could have been offered.......
