Well I'm glad I got the small oil leak in my tow vehicle fixed!
I would like to plan however but we can't b/c we don't know who's in or out at this point. Is the number 225 or 280? 300? DE will get marginalized if we go with 4 race groups. Question is: what will we know and when will we know it??

I will definitely be at the Glen, I usually paddock down by turn one.
I try and get as far away from the scruts as possible
Stop by and say Hi.

Will do! Your car really is gorgeous in person, no joke.
I will be at the Glen for the entire week leading up to & including the Clash.

All this talk is killing my enthusiasm. Having a friendly atmosphere at the races (by the staff) and in the pits is half the fun. Maybe I should have stuck with the TWS plan......

Ahh, lets try it and see what happens. Get some data first. THEN, you can decide whether you want to come back...

Not sure if this is applicable but just a thought, the first time we did a PCA race at Daytona, 2006 if my feeble memory serves, Daytona had some real concerns that "club" racers were going to be a nightmare with our driving on such a historic track like Daytona. The track had some real concerns about how we would treat their facility but after the first event I believe they saw a great group of people who were respectful of the facility and especially each other so a change of heart was clearly obtained. Perhaps and I say perhaps we can accomplish the same thing at COTA, I for one will not let track rules ruin my fun after towing 1200 miles to get that fun

There will no doubt be things we like, and things we don't like about COTA. And there will be growing pains. As far as a friendly paddock, that is one thing that I feel certain the local PCA folks will do their best to provide. Anyone who has been to one of our races at TWS knows that's how we roll. ...yo

Wow
Can't believe the doom and gloom here... So pervasive...
Anybody want to really bow out?
See you all there! Rain, shine, snow, wrecks, no wrecks, parking , no parking, if you've ever been to the Hill Country in May... That's worth it alone. The best time to do something is when you can. Life is short...
It's Easter and Passover, Rejoice!
Have a great day!

A lot of faith in the PCA CR machine's ability to execute a plan and work out the rough spots. If your watching PCA, put the haters in Lot Z.

so, perhaps someone who is good at the english language and reading rules and that kind of stuff could maybe just give a quickie on what their game plan is for multi-car teams/shop like Speedsport, Deman, etc etc. who have a big motorhome/trailer or race hauler, awning, etc.
how far from pitlane would those haulers be situated? how long of a walk is it? easy drive i assume with the race car by drivers?
sounds like they only want race cars and at maximimum one normal car/pickup truck located in the main paddock and only for those who have a garage, etc.
im just curious how inconvenient, if at all, the parking will be for the bigger race haulers and motorhomes.
