Default PCA Road Atlanta Registration now open!

Registration for the PCA Club Race at Road Atlanta, March 22-24, 2013 is now open at clubregistration.net. We already have 95 racers registered. I would encourage everyone to register and PAY plenty early this year as we may sell out.

Attendance is up across the board for PCA events so don't delay!

Thanks,
DB

Thanks for the heads up Dave. Should be a great event.

This is a 3-day event featuring two sprint races and 90-minute enduro. Both sprint races are 944 Cup points races. the enduro is not a points race for this round.

Dave:

I'm looking at the cancellation policy for this event. "There is a 50% refund of race entry fees for cancellations RECEIVED IN WRITING after acceptance and before March 8, 2013. ANY cancellation received after March 8, 2013 is ineligible for refund."

The penalty for cancelling seems rather harsh. Would seem to discourage racers from registering early. Legit reasons come up that require a change in plans. Especially with another PCA race at RR between now and RA. Is this a PCA National policy or a local policy?

Thanks

Race cancellation and refund policies are set by the host region or zone, not the national PCA CR committee.

We have updated our refund policy to be more in line with other PCA races as follows:

Cancellations requests RECEIVED IN WRITING before March 8, 2013 will be granted less any online payment fees and a $10 administrative fee.
ANY cancellation received after March 8, 2013 is subject to a $100 cancellation fee. No refunds will be provided after March 21, 2013. Event option purchases (shirts, socials, etc.) are non-refundable.
“Received in Writing” means received at the official mail address or email with receipt requested to: ClubRace12@peachstatepca.org

Thanks for the feedback and please spread the word!

ps. would also like to digress a bit while on the subject of PCA races, to commend PCA officials for their tech inspection efforts of SP 944 cars @ Sebring . Have heard from quite a few drivers after Sebring who appreciated PCA's work. Thank you.

Thanks, that is great news on the refund front. Just signed up hoping I'll get #156 back together in time to actually get through my first race this time around. 9 in SP3 so far, that's the biggest field I've seen in one of those by a factor of about 2, and I am pretty sure one more guy in an S2 will be signing up soon.

No......but it so happens to be IN that stop near me, now, having a cage like mine put in. He lives in Kennesaw. Here's a hint:

The 968 is going to be an E-stock car (and it isn't mine!!!!).

What???? More SP3 cars than SP2's. That's a first.

After 9 at Sebring, and 7 at RR.

Dave B,

A lot of the SP1/SP2 racers are waiting to see if they survive Roebling Road before they sign up for RA.

How many racers can the event support?
