Paging all driving coaches

Love the HANS helmet sans HANS! Good thing PSM was working overtime while his hands were on the A-pillar or hovering over the spinning wheel.
Sounds like COTA has had one very well run, incident free group with Driver's Edge and one complete cluster f*&# of a group with MVP.
Check this very dangerous nonsense out. Apparently they were red flagging sessions when cars had mechanical issues or offs:

The red flags were race control/course marshaling, not MVP. reds were flown for cars that were parked well off course in safe locations, where anyone else would have thrown a local yellow. and on Sunday morning the course director apologized for being red flag happy and things went back to a more normal local yellow/black flag condition.

I wouldn't describe the MVP event as a cluster, 99% of the drivers were fine and didn't present a problem. I think Friday was particularly bad because people were overdriving an unfamiliar circuit but Saturday and Sunday were much better.
