Looks nice!
All the article says is that the last generation GT3R had 500hp, and that this version should weigh approx. 1200 kgs (+/- 2600 lbs)...
Let's hope the ALMS RSR version is up to snuff....

I'm looking at track width and rubber up front. Should generate some serious grip combined with the GT40-style radiator outlets in the hood.

Really? It looks so much more cohesive to me. Certainly more so than the current 997 RSR, with it's cheshire-cat-grin front radiator opening.

Just my $.02, of course.

Dang, I can't shake the feeling that I'm looking at an Aston...

A beautiful car, IMHO, but not as distinct as I would have thought. Be interesting to see if it comes to pass, and is competitive...

Regards,

Dave

Redefines "busybody". There's a lot going on front, side and rear.

They are clearly chasing some things inherent to,overcome in the 911. It's like the Panamera....from certain angles, awesome and from other angles, not so much....

Before we get carried away here...how close is this car to the finished product? My guess is it's still a work in progress.

For the record - I think it looks awesome!!!

Several points:

1. It's not a finished product so don't get too excited one way or the other yet.
2. Porsche does tend make aesthetically pleasing race cars so it's likely to look good when rolled out.
3. After it has been out for a year or so, the old cars will certainly look dated.
4. Most of us will want one!

Thanks for sharing! I like the first pic, but the following two do make the front end look hammerhead shark like. But at least it has a removable hood to access the engine bay from above and not just a hatch to check the oil.

Looks like this car adds even more width to the front track.

Looks good!
