Default FS '92 Cup car

Helping a friend.

1992 964 Cup car. Three sets of wheels. Air jacks. Rebuilt tranny (9 hours), new ring and pinion (9 hours), cool suit, rebuilt dampers by Bilstein (15 hours), engine heads rebuilt (30 hours), rotors with 1 race on them, night racing hood (added extra lamps), one brand new set of Hoosiers.

Wagon pass, SCCA and PCA log books available. Multiple track records.

Asking $60K

I think it is one of the best training and developing tools for race car driving.

If interested contact directly Mike Courtney at Courtney Truck Services at 952-934-0931.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Another bump. Great car and under-priced, that for reasons beyond understanding, struggles to be sold.

Maybe the owner should ask for $90K. Then I am sure people would dive for it.

Any idea on race/driver history?

This actually works on a lot of things...

I only rented out my condo after I increased the price by $300/month!

JR - I've raced with this car a few times and have met the current owner.

He's a solid guy and the car seems to run very well indeed. I'd also love to have it, but...

You might be thinking of 996 cups, as there were several red 964 cups. The rare colors I'm aware of for 964 cups are Rubystone Red (2 known) and Signal Green (1 known).

I believe you are thinking of the USA Carrera Cup.

Was that poster from the German Cup or the one that ran with the GP? Wondering about the history on this car.

I have personally looked at the Wagon Pass and it is the coolest thing ever.

The car is perfect and undestructible. The reason to sell is to pursue new racing adventures, not because the car has issues.

I am sure somebody out there wants to learn how to drive fast rear engine cars. As I stated before, it is the perfect tool for that. The same principles than the Cup apply but all happening at a fraction of the speed.

JR

This Cup is a great investment and priced very well. The Wagan pass would provide the cars history including events and drivers. If you are interested in the cars history, I would request a copy of the Wagen Pass, I am sure the owenr would be happy to provide.

You have a PM
