The weather today would not allow a proper warm of the engine so I didn't do the sound clip. On Monday the weather looks very nice so I hope to be able to fire her up and take her for a drive to the shop that will do the leak-down and compression test. There someone in Washington anxiously awaiting for me to do this

One last question. It's a healthy motor. And it's safe to say the buyer is getting a bargain. But to make that part clearer... What would someone need to write a check for if they wanted to do the mods you did to a 1995 motor? I'm guessing it's more than 15K.

A fair question, the motor was done 4 years ago and it was over 20k to do it then, I imagine now it would cost even more due to parts and labor costs going up. Do you have to remind me that I am letting it go for such a good deal...

Another 993 just got listed in the classifieds and it had its motor recently rebuilt and the hp gains match mine. They listed the price for the rebuild. To see those numbers and another very nice 993 check out the thread https://rennlist.com/forums/9937159-post1.html

Would you finance the RennSpoon gang? We need a car like that to scare(read educate) some of the guys in blue and black.

Now that would be interesting... I would need to put the Fabspeed SuperTrap's back on though, its sounds way to civilized now that its got the B&B Mufflers on it.

Hi Francois I drove the 993 back to back with the GT3 last weekend. I now have a new appreciation for the 993. They are both great cars, I am not sure which one will end up staying with me long term. The 993 is not as fast as the GT3 but the 993 gives me much more of an adrenalin rush Oh well for now I will enjoy both of them.

Carm, I know the feeling. Every one of these is special. The biggest obstacle in me getting a cup, is that I love the GT3 so much, and can't get myself to part with it. Maybe you should get another license plate that reads "TOYCAR 1" or 3, or whatever you can get, and just keep both.

Don't know if you've seen the movie Urban Outlaw, but since watching it, I want an air-cooled car even more http://www.reelhouse.org/mos/urbanoutlaw/ It was done by a UCR member BTW.

That car looks familiar.... where have I seen it before? Oh yea... now I remember...

Good luck with sale, Carm. Kinda thinking about buying it back -- see you made a few changes.
