While I find it a bit of a shame I am going to part out the Car.

The Tub is conditionally sold but if anyone wants to be put in line for it in case the deal falls through let me know.

The Engine and Tranny (including 964 RS LFW and Clutch plus Quaife Limited Slip Diff) are being considered by one person. If they don't take both of them then I will follow up with the others that have PM'ed me in the order I received them.

Prices: CAD
Tub $32,000
Engine: $15,000
Tranny: $7,000

Notes:
A sound clip recording, compression and leak-down will be performed on the engine before it is removed from the tub.

If the engine and tranny are going to the same person they can be crated together or separately.

Default Update:

The person that was interested in the Engine and Tranny has changed their mind due to not being able to see the package in person and having to ship it across the country. I have received two additional PM's asking about the Engine/Tranny combo and have responded to them in the order they were received.

Someone NEEDS to buy the entire car...it's a pity to part this one out!

I hear you Dwane, loud and clear. I waited about a month for a bite, not even one but several nibbles on the major parts of the car. It is a shame on one end but so far the Tub and the Engine are going to be used for neat 993 projects so the Cars' Soul will live on

Default Update:

The Engine is Sold, its on condition of the Leak-down and Compression test results which it will be getting in the next few days.

The Tub has a serious prospective buyer but they haven't shown up yet, if someone else is interested in the Tub let me know.

The Tranny so far is still available, I haven't had the time to follow up on the few people that have asked me to put them on the list for it though...

This has become more fun for me then I ever thought it would be to part out a perfectly great package. The reason, the parts are going towards other 993 projects that I would love to do as well one day. The Engine is going to another 993 that is being prepped to be a very nice example of a 993 RS. The Tub if it goes to the person I think it will is going to be used to create a 993 GT2 that is more focused to street driving then the track.

The Tranny not spoken for yet but if it doesn't go (wait for this ... Wifey's idea) I will probably keep it and find some very nice example of a 993 Tiptronic and convert it to a wonderful 6 speed 3 pedal car for her.

Before you finalize carving your car up I would do a bit more research. $32k has bought some nice complete 993 track cars here on rennlist. The engine is a good deal at $15k and I could see it snapped up in a hurry but you may have an empty shell sitting for a long time at that price and then take a hit in the end anyway... Just my .02c...

Thanks J I may not have spelled it out but the only reason I even offered up the Engine and Tranny was due to having a solid offer on the Tub. The person that claims they will buy the Tub knows the Car and the Shop owner that converted the 993 to its current state very well so the probability of them backing out of the Tub purchase is very low. I appreciate your input though and will keep it in mind.

You're good to go then, I'd jump on it. It took the better part of a year to sell a racecar in these times, don't get discouraged at 1 month.

Congratulation on the sale(s). It looks like a heck of a beast you'd put together.

You mention 315 hp on the engine. For the sake of those of us contemplating similar modifications, can you say what the rwhp number was when it was dyno'd?

Thanks and for sure, one of the pictures in the RS Build link show the Car on the Dyno and has a subtitle with that number but it was 284 hp at the wheels. That was without the Steve Wong Chip that I now have in it that was programmed to match the 3.8 Build. I have not dynoed it again since adding the chip but I can tell from how it drives its a lot stronger and smoother having updated the chip. I have uploaded the dynosheet for your reference.
