Petit Le Mans
Petit Le Mans is this Saturday at 11:30am! Anyone else going or watching? I will be arriving tomorrow, I am camping on the outside of turn 9 with some friends from college. Unfortunately, I was too late to get Porscheplatz tickets, but I will be sure to check out the cars anyway.

I tried to get a Porscheplatz ticket rather than a parking pass as well and the website said they were sold out. Were they the same price as the normal tickets/parking passes this year too?

Today was pretty good with a very entertaining Cup race that unfortunately got cut short by yellows.Hope tomorrow's race picks up where this was headed.
But with no Audi/Peugeot battle, no Porsche Spiders and the GT c'ship all sewn up, it just doesn't have the drama of prior years. But will I be there- hell yes.

The start of the GT3 Challenge race today was "not optimal" as Pres Obama might term it.
Three wide into T12 after green was called and the inside car put two wheels on the inside gators, slide and tapped the next car over that took out another 4 cars- so about 6 or 7 cars BEFORE start/finish. No one hurt I don't believe but some real carnage there.
That shortened the race considerably. Just like yday unfortunately.

What happened in qualifying? I see one of the Vipers got a penalty for not having enough night laps but someone else got a penalty as well. Anyone know what happened?
