Default What the smell of urine might signify

Ok, other than you are in the Paris metro on a Saturday night.

It took me an embarrassing long time to figure it out, but the pressure line from the steering rack to the midpoint of the car was leaking at one of the rubber to hard line fittings. The smell of Pentosin CHF 11S seems very close to that of urine. I noticed the aroma in the cabin well before the intermittant leak was noticeable.

Thought you might like to know.

Yea...sure...it wasn't the result of an "oh $hit!" moment on the track?...

When my cockpit smells like a fart I just blame it on the catalytic converter despite not having one.

My 914 smelled of urine once ... turns out the neighbor's cat had decided he wanted to go to Sebring with us and ride in the trailer for 4+ hours. Needless to say, he found a nice spot to relieve himself... in my seat. At first thought it was rain water that had leaked in from the roof vent. Upon further inspection, about 2 seconds after my behind got into the seat I saw the cat haul butt out of and under the trailer, I realized that I wasn't sitting in rain water, it was ****.

We now have an air horn we blow by the trailer before we close the doors to make sure there are no more uninvited guests going to the track with us.

You're relaxed enough to fart on the track? I find the seat and harnesses don't allow me to lean over enough.

I can't lean enough to one side or get a leg up high enough.

I've also taken a cat pee 914 to Sebring. It was the wife's cat so it was a good excuse to buy a new seat.
