TWS is not really a roval. the only part of theold oval that is used in the 2.9 mile road course is the main start/finish straightaway, which really isn't straight.
The course can be run clockwise & counterclockwise. it has super fast sweepers. It has tight technical & linked stuff. it has camber changes. it has elevation. It has many, many corners similar to the best of other "known" tracks. it is extremely safe. it is a 12 month a year track. It is MUCH tougher that it looks to be truly fast on...no joke. And it is a hoot to race!!!

We ran both today, and while I can say the options are fun to have, I sure prefer CCW over CW. We started the AM going CW and I was so bored I found myself lifting for lack of fun, then we went CCW and by turn two I was foot to the floor and grinning ear to ear !
I was in a 400+LS1 951 on Moton's and Hoosiers.

Oh, yes, apologies, yes CVAR also runs there.
Maybe. At my age, it's all a blur any more...
I appreciate both directions, but hear what you're saying. The beauty of TWS is that it can be run in either direction with zero modifications or effort. Litterally two tracks for th eprice of one!

I've only ran it that one time and mostly in the rain but it was a challenging track. I agree it highly underrated and I'd love to get the opportunity to race it dry. I still watch Cervelli's great run there....

I'm headed to Tremblant Tuesday, got back from Mid-O three weeks ago. I love 'em both.
Then, of course, off to Laguna Seca in three weeks....
Choices, choices...
