Default Has anybody shipped a G50 tranny via UPS

...or in the real world, does it exceed the 150lb limit when prepped for shipping.

Broke my input shaft (probably) and need to get mine out ASAP.

If it needs to be trucked, anyone have a recommendation (OK to OR).

Build a wooden box for it. Or I've heard of people putting a smaller 915 into a huge cooler.

Ask me how I know... shipping companies don't give a sh*t about how many thousands of $$$ are sitting on top of a pallet...

Freight will be MUCH cheaper than UPS (even if you get under 150 lbs).

Its gonna be close, depending on how its packaged up.

We use Yellow Freight, however I don't know if they connect into OK. Freight rates are very competitive so call around.

Kai,
Ship it to Chris Cervelli. Then it's already in Colorado. You'll just have to install it once you get here...

Sorry to hear about that. Put some "real" short gears while you're in there. They are worth 2 seconds at Hallett.

Baaawwwaaahhhhh...I've been working the spreadsheet all morning.

Who's got data for HPR velocity just prior to braking at T4?

Rather than the half pallet and box, I was thinking cheep small truck toolbox - but the cooler thing is a great idea...

And then more room for beer and gin later!

Is that how you dropped your times ?
And I here I thought you were just driving better.
It's really worth 2 seconds at Hallett ? Well with those then I could easily attain my "goal" time.
