I have a "loop", wide enough for each arm restraint to pass thru, sewn onto back of each arm of my nomex. Keeps the arm restraint right where I want it...and allows me to remove them when I''m not driving an open-cockpit car.

Just yesterday I saw a FF driver I know removing his arm restraints. Very interesting; they were built into a sort of elbow pad, which would naturally keep them from slipping around since it's locked on the elbow.

I'll have to ask where he got them...
