I am looking to buy a set of tires that will be street use but need to be geared for high performance driving.

The tire must fit on a 18 x 13" wide wheel. I have been looking at 335/30/R18 but the two mfg's I found suggests using a rim width of no more than 12 or 12.5 inches. The two I have found are the:

Does anyone have any experience with a tire that will fit a 13 inch width wheel? Is Low Profile? And is rated for high speed good grip and sheds water well for driving in unexpected rain storms and pooled city streets?

Please help a brother out as I need to purchase soon.

I have 13" rears on my Viper and I love the Toyo RA1 for the street, 335s I think. I used those for rain tires on my 911 and they were fine.

Can you confirm the tire size? The 13 inch wheel width is right but are you running 18 or 19 in diameter wheels?

Reason I ask about diameter is their website doesn't show a 335/30/18 but they show that size in 19 inch diameter.

Any help would be great.

I too run the Toyos on the rear of my Viper. Toyo makes the RA-1 and R-888 for the 13" rim. Viper model years 99-2002 will use the 18" rim.

I run the 335 PS2s on 18x13. Fits fine

They are 18" rims, 335/30/18

There is a guy selling them on ebay cheap! I thought about getting a spare pair as the rears wear pretty fast on the Viper, maybe under 4K miles with 500 ft/lbs of torque.
