I have a problem with that claim. The GT3 RS was 5 seconds a lap faster than the Panameras Turbo S. So, where does the claim in the title come from?

Yes, I did. The 911 GT3 RS was 13th with 2:55.9
The Panamera Turbo S was 23rd with 3:00.7

The GT3 you refer to was back in 2007. I also suspect drivers made a big difference.

Aren't you being a bit sensitive??

The title said a "GT3"....not the "fastest GT3" or the "GT3 RS".

Who cares when the the 2007 GT3 was tested? It's still a 2007 GT3!!!!

The Panamera Turbo S is clearly a fast car.

4.1 mile course, not the usual course.

Bob, there also were some nice track upgrades since 2007 which Peter will confirm. BTW August hot day versus a nice day in January making tons of power. Not a real world comparison.

say what you will about drivers, tires, conditions, etc...the fact that a 4,000 pound plus luxury sedan is on that list between a Ford GT and a z06 is pretty incredible.

Wow.. quick car that Panamera.. Saw a Turbo version this week and watched the rear spoilers rise up. Not my style, but certainly a very impressive car.. and seemingly quicker than a GT3
