2012 Grand-Am Race at Daytona - We need Porsche support! - Friday Jan. 27th @ 1:30pm
Ladies and Gents,
By this time next week, 24 GT3 Cup cars will be competing for GT class honors among 46 entries during the 50th running of the Rolex 24 at Daytona. However, also by this time next week the results of the 200 mile Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge Series event will have been decided. And unlike the 24 hour, where it will be a question of "Which Porsche Will Win," among an 80 car Continental Tire field it is 5 on 38 in the GS class for Porsche fans; only 2 of those cars are new DFI 997s with GTS power. We are up against 2 Roush Cup factory prepared Boss 302Rs, another handful of Ford Mustang 302Rs, a pair of already fast Multimatic Aston Martins V8s (one of which will be driven by Dr. McSteamy himself), over half a dozen V8s M3s from Championship teams like Turner and Fall-Line, a Rum Bum M3 that is always fast and wins repeatedly and a crop of Chevy Camaros that dominated the end of 2011. Maybe we are biased but we like seeing the Porsche brand compete against something other than other Porsches!
Please try and following along. Please visit our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/BGB...s/371934241310. Stop by and say hello in the garages if you are lucky enough to attend the event. Show your support and recognize the series that the manufacturer does not. We are a small group that enjoys the support of its Rennlist.com fans and we will be carrying some Rennlist.com vinyl on both cars. The race will be broadcast on SpeedTV Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at 12:00pm, EST.
Thank you very much for all of the positive terms of encouragement thus far.

John, I have a bunch of Porsche friends/racers going down to view both races. Will send them by to give a salute and say hello. Two are really interested in racing Caymans/ITC and know of your involvement.
Godspeed and good luck!

Go BGB...show them that the GTS engine is solid! Love you guys and will certainly be pulling for you. I'm trying to push myself off the fence and drive over on Friday....wonder if any hotels have a room?
