SIzing my (likely Sparco) suit? Dimensions all over the map

I'm 5'8", ~180lbs, 42" chest, 33" waist. When I look at most sizing charts, my height says M, my weight says L. Chest is closer to L, and waist is closer to M. I'm borderline for the in between M/L for those offerings. Pretty average in the torso/leg length.
I'm probably going to go with a Sparco for a few reasons. Is there anyone out there with proporsions similar to mine who has experience with how their suits fit, could you give me some feedback? Unfortunately, there isn't a dealer of suits anywhere near me, so I can't try one on (and we usually buy through our WD for Cobra seats, for whom we are a dealer). Right now, I'm inclined to go with the M/L (54 in Sparco speak), but I'm a bit worried that it will constrict my movement through the shoulders. OTOH, I don't want to err too much on the big size and have the thing bunch up on me in the seat.
Of much lesser importance, but I'll ask in case. Has anyone seen the "Pearl" colored suits Sparco sells? I'd like to keep it light colored, and would get white but for the fact that it will likely already get dirty, and I don't want to look like I'm trying to look like the Stig. Pearl just seems like a dirty white, not sure about it.

The key measurements are torso length, chest and waist. You can deal with longer legs and arms but small in those three areas really makes suits suck.

The only thing to be wary of is torso length. If the suit is too short from neck to crotch it's a pain (both figuratively and literally!).
I'm 5'10" and 180lbs. Have a Sparco 58 and it's a fraction short in that area. Bought a size 60 and it's a big jump up in size all over.
They don't make half sizes.

Thanks Mike and Peter for the kind words.
67 King:
Like Joe said, torso length is very important as far as comfort goes, especially when seated. I am thinking you are a 56 in a Sparco based on the info you provided, especially if you work out at all.
We have a large selection of Sparco suits in stock and will be happy to assist you. You can reach us at 800-934-9112 or via email at info@ogracing.com
Kind regards,
Mark

I've had an off-white Sparco for ~5 years and it has aged OK. A few stains here and there (brake dust seems to be the worst) but it doesn't look that bad. The cuffs seem to get dirtiest from brushing against wheels or the dirty car.
I suggest ordering a couple from Mark and returning those that don't fit the best. An extra $10 return shipping is a minimal price to pay to ensure you're getting a good-fitting suit. You'll want to try them on w/ your helmet and Hans, sit in your car, and go through the motions of driving and entering/exiting.

I have a white Sparco X-lite Evo 3, it actually cleans up better than I thought it would, oil, grease and stains come out with Molecule. I just replaced it with an Evo 4, now this suit uses some very thin material, it feels exceedingly light and breezy for hot weather, even compared to the Evo 3.
