I have the chance to decorate a man-cave and I am definitely into an automotive/racing theme. I've found the usual places with posters, but I would love to find some "junkyard art." It's not easy to find on the internets, and maybe I'll just have to visit a junkyard. I'm not brand loyal (so Porsche, BMW, Ferrari, Ford all work) and want to focus on sports car racing.
Any ideas?

The fence enclosure behind tech inspections at Daytona this year had metric tons of broken, bent, and splintered carbon fiber. Useless to the race teams that lost them, but really cool to hang on the wall! (there were two different rear engine covers from the Spirit of Daytona team...lol.)

I'm in the process of my Own Man-Cave Refinish with some Racing goodies. I haven't completed the decorating but here is what I have thus far..
I bought a BBS wheel from Petit Lemans (Panoz) and had a piece of glass made to make it an end table. I liked it so much that I contacted Panoz directly and bought more. They have all sorts of parts they were willing to sell me.. And I mean CHEAP.. EG. I got these BBS Wheels 16.5" wide for $60 ea. He said they were $3,500 ea new. I'm looking to get a mural in my office done. It runs about $500 for a 13' wide X 7' tall.
I also have several other automotive related accessories w/o going cheesy. Carbon Fiber Faucet for the sink.![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
I also painted the back wall in the bar & media room Racing Orange. Of course you have to have a Simulator too!

Wow. The 16" wheel width is important to make it table (versus a wheel sitting on the ground with glass on it!). I've got some old 944 phonedials but they may stay in the garage as hose reels.

Lots of ideas over on the garagejournal site. My latest fun acquisition was a gorgeous perfectly executed aluminum nose of an Aston Martin DB3 from a body shop that was closing.

Simulators will never replace actual on-track time, but it is far cheaper in the long run
