Yeah, CTSCC is pure carnage more often than not. We've thrown away countless body parts, wheels, etc. I've seen a lot of corner workers & fans taking parts home. You even have to be careful what you leave around, people will try to take your spares!

I totally agree. But I'll have to build up to that level.

This past year at Daytona a fan helped himself to a hood or nose and the team was riding around the infield on a cart looking for it.

In my experience, Daytona has one of the most secure garage areas. It is difficult to get into, especially after hours, and they lock the doors and kick the teams out at a certain point. Not good if you have to pull an all-nighter fixing your race car.

It's all relative, but compared to a place where tools like to go missing like Mosport, it's practically Alcatraz.

If your objective is to collect junk, then your budget may not be ready for this. However, there is plenty of variety at Woodies of Carmel. I've been to the store in person and can verify that it's all very high quality stuff.

Further up the food chain is this mancave belonging to Jack Griffin (drove for Porsche in the mid 80's): http://www.dfwautoclub.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5385

Yep, this place is good too. I especially like their garage "pumps".

Racing Furniture at Driving Impressions - no affiliation, I just think they're cool! The "Formula One Chair" looks just like a GT3 seat.

EBAY of course. I can't say how many hours I've wasted scanning the listings under "Sports Mem, Cards & Fan Shop>>> Fan Apparel & Souvenirs>>> Racing Other"

You never know when you might want a $1,000,000 piece of Evel Knievel's Snake River jump Sky Cycle.
