I saw Rich's 968 CS my first time at Sebring a few years ago. It was stunning both in color and condition.

DE cars are much easier to keep pristine than Club Racers, wouldn't you say, Joe?

I think any car driven hard is harder to keep looking pristine. The racing simply exposes your car to more debris and other paint destroying elements when compared to a typical DE.

That explains why your car always looks pristine Frank!

Ouch.... When was that? Hopefully is fixed... If not, I'll give you AJ's number and he'll fix it for you cheaper and better than most... He is close to Marlton NJ, a bit far from ya, but worth the tri I think...

Frank, you've mastered "Photo Art" to create fake photos of his car? HaHa.... I'm glad you had it fixed in time for the nationals at NJMP.

Mechanically, it's fixed. $$$. It wasn't just cosmetic, there were bent suspension and other bits.
It's no longer the beauty queen it never was.
Here's what happened: Hurricaine Irene was approaching, but the race started in dry conditions. I was caught out on slicks and was very stupid not to stop.

Pablo:
I agree with what others have said. Look at SP3 then you can chase Dr. Frank. GT4 and 5 are traditionally dominated by 911s.

Hi Mark! SP3 will likely be it. I may have to chase El Doctore at a few tracks... Hopefully I'll be able to get him to do some chas'n as well!

Thanks Doc... Good times...

I am halfway there... Was able to send a full and compliant PCA License Application before leaving for the Holidays and I just got the email from the "PCA Club Racing Coordinator". Have a "phone date" for early Jan 2012 (mandatory interview). Then I am thinking Lime Rock in April will be my PCA rookie racing weekend. I actually WILL feel like a rookie indeed as I have never been there.... Road Atlanta in March would be another option but that is some 14 hours away

Not sure if you or anyone knows this, but said car is currently for sale. Low $20's. Not too bad for a car wtih a couple of championships and about 10rack/class records.

I'm going through the same thing, targetting Road Atlanta for my rookie race (but I'll be a real rookie!).
