That was pretty manic. 90 or so drovers on track. Kinda like dodgeball.

Eric?
Ditto. Good dicing with you.
I kept trying to tell myself it was just a fun race, but I wasn't listening apparently when I saw you and the 62 red M3.

I think it's astounding that there wasn't more attrition due to mechanical issues and/or collisions. It was my first time but apparently NASA has good record with the Santa Run.
Pretty good testament to the drovers.

Yep. Sorry I didnt swing by after the race. Had to go get diesel in the truck before hooking it up to the big trailer.

The 3 red flags on Sat were kind of a oddball occurance. Never seen that many red flags before, let alone all in one day. Definitely come up to some Mid-Atlantic events next year at VIR!

HA! That's the 2nd person I heard this weekend using that phrase. Stephen Dubobsky (who came down w/ me and drive the yellow E36) kept saying we had to get out of Dodge. I just assumed it was his way of saying lets get the hell out of here...

Now blown Dodge is a slightly different one.

And yes, Veloce is right. But that was from blowing up Fords....

That looked like one of the most insane races at the start. 90 cars starting on the front straight at Road Atlanta is crazy. There were so many cars the leaders (cough cough Ritter/Magnetic) were lapping cars by lap 3. Amazing there were no cautions with that many people with lots of different speeds on track. Everyone involved should give themselves a pat on the back.

Ritter, this was posted over on NASA-SE (good picture!):

Aside from the Toy race, there was a bunch of torn up stuff in the other races/TT sessions.

I have video from the same race which is really interesting to see the view from both drovers.
Problem is I can't get it to upload to Vimeo. Its under 5GB but just sits there at 0% and won't load. Formatting issue?
Any advice appreciated- its from an Aiptek via Mac (1980 x 1080 and AAC).

Desktop uploader discontinued : (
I shot in 60fps- maybe thats the issue. I can't change that but perhaps I can compress.

From Vimeo's site:

Frame rate - 24, 25, or 30 FPS

If you know at which frame rate you shot, it is best to encode at that same frame rate. However, if it exceeds 30 FPS (frames per second), you should encode your video at half that frame rate. For example, if you shot 60 FPS, you should encode at 30 FPS. If you're uncertain what frame rate you shot at, set it to either "Current" or 30 FPS. If there is an option for keyframes, use the same value you used for frame rate.
