Yeah that would certainly have an impact on how good the car is.

Lewis, Since Renault owns Nissan, perhaps an 'Infinity" branded engine is still the Renault?

Yes it is, just a martketing direction they are going in. With back to back WC with help from Vettel and Newey, coupled with the fact they are favored until the new turbo engine rules come into affect in a couple years, they ain't changing anything from a technical stand point.
