Mark,

What time does the line around the store start? Also will Matthew be out there serving hot chocolate to everyone in line?

Bought two sets of PF97s for the spring, thanks Mark!

They come with XL mechanics gloves?

Thanks Gary! I'll get some gloves sent to you.

gvtesse: What size suit are you looking for? We probably have something I can deal on.

Thanks,

Thanks,
Mark, I was kidding!! You show up to the races and hand out gloves and offer GREAT prices and specials like this one that help us buy the best equipment at a great price. I will buy everything I can from OG because you are there (and many others I haven't the pleasure of meeting) and OG exemplifies the grass roots of racing to me. Forget the gloves, seeing you at the races and knowing I am covered when I need it? Worth a lot more than gloves.

Gary:
Thanks for the kind words. We appreciate it.

Bob:
I know we have some 62s in other models, just not sure which. I will check with the office Friday morning and shoot you a PM.

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving!

Yep. I remember it well. Sean F got me a few laps later. Drove as hard as I could, to keep up, but you guys brought your A game for that race.

I'm thinking Mark may be eating Turkey about now, I am close myself. The girls are telling me it is almost done !

Here is a description of the compounds, http://www.performancefriction.com/m...criptions.aspx

But basically, the 01's and 06's offer more bite than the 97's. Some people prefer this some don't. Some people will mix compounds front to rear depending on driving style for a little "pad" brake bias.
I would agree with your crew chief and say try the 06 or 01's. I think either would be good in a early non abs 911.

I love the 97's, no braking issues, ever (other than braking too early or too much that is).

They're all I've ever used and I like them, but the chief says I'm a luddite for not trying the 06s since they're newer and (supposedly) better.
