+1. Those look great....
I think David covered the major areas to lose weight. I also dumped my dash and gauge cluster which was good for about 35lbs, and pared the wiring harness down by about 40lbs to 5 circuits. After that is just little things like OEM muffler brackets, cup car fender liners which are lighter and taller, and other bits of now unnecessary hardware. Elec power steering dumps some weight and gains HP and you could always put Getty's rear 1/4 panels on for $2,200 in CF...

Forgot- did electric steering pump as well- not sure of the net weight loss on that one. But it does unburden the motor somewhat and move weight fwd at the same time.
The headlight covers came from the The Speed Gallery in Tx- Dan Aspesi- very helpful guy. But I was out of town when they did the covers and took out the headlights- they are not really very heavy (the lights that is). Lotsa cheap plastic.
Vinyl graphics on paint.
Weight was 2630 with 1/4 tank but a little more weight has come out so maybe 2600.
R2? It was R4 at the beginning of the year (now R3). Still has a stock 3.4 in there remember.

Thx. Another 100 lbs to go. Good chunk of it in the dash and wiring like JR points out but I'm wary about restart issues ie the car never starting again.
I'm out of town for a week but will post some interior shots when back but nothing special. Nice job on the electric steering pump and cooler tho- that's worth a shot.

David,
If you guys are referring to PBOC with the R3 vs. R2 rules don't forget per the classifications:
"One pt for every 25 lbs under PBOC production weight of 2,910 for your base car, 99-01 996 3.4L"
2910-2600=310/25=12 points
But who's counting...
