wow checked RL this morning about 6 AM worked all day just sat down to relax a bit and i get to read a lot about my new car . thanks to all for the input
the springs are quite soft i dont have the numbers in front of me but they are soft
i appreciate the input about being in the gt3 class . does it in fact require replacing the gt3rs wing with the cup wing i think i remember seeing one or 2 for sale it it just a bolt on ??
interestingly i have a friend who in fact got me involved with this sport . he just bought a 996 2004 koni challenge car . it will be great fun to learn together
i very much appreciate the help

The Springs / shock settings are atually perfect for Watkins Glen, NJMP, VIR and Fast High Speed tracks.
Also, the set up will work very well at Lime Rock, Summit Point and Mid Ohio.

Ron there are no specifications for PCA's GT classes. You can use whatever wing, shocks, springs, etc. that you choose. The only parameters are weight/engine size x PCA's Performance Index. I think a bigger wing is important, but since you just got the car I'd just go play with it for awhile and then make whatever changes you feel are necessary....
