Default 911 3.8L Semi Tube Frame Race Car Part Out

OK, I have made some life decisions here. I am going to stop work on my 911 race car that I was preparing for next season and try something else.

I ran this car for 3 years, then tore it completely down to the chassis. had it sandblasted, then painted it with POR15 white paint. Built it all back up only to loose a bearing on the first outing (two years ago). Now I am changing the body and putting together a completely different motor. Like I say, life changes and now it is up for sale in parts.

Everything is for sale. Some stuff I have not listed but you may see in the pictures. Ask.

Here are the details.

Fresh 964 based motor that has not yet been built.

3.8L RSR bore in cylinders replated and honed by EBS with new J&E pistons ($2250)

std/std crankshaft $1650 (SOLD)

Case (not yet modified for the cylinders) $1550 SOLD

GT3 Oil Pump ($800) SOLD

Cooling fan and alternator ($500)

Electormotive TEC3 with crank pulley and timing sensor. Two sets of coils (any and all other sensors too for use on a 964) $2300 (SOLD)

B&B race exhaust system ($700)

87 Chassis. (See other post for more information) ($2500)

993 rear suspension. $1300 SOLD

935 front suspension $1300 SOLD

wide body fiberglass body on it including rear deck banana wing. See post below for prices of individual parts

Ohlins strut in bilstein Housings front -89 $2500

Ohlins rear 993 Shocks. (front -89 rear 993) $1500

Fuelsafe 23 Gal Fuel cell ($1400) (SOLD)

Air Jacks (4) with wand ($2400) (SOLD)

Big Red front calipers with adapters and rotors with adapters to fit on regular 911 ($1500)

Big Red Rear Calipers ($500) (SOLD)

Dual master cylinder setup ($850) SOLD

BBS 18" 3 piece wheels 13" rear 9.5" front $2700 per set. (3 sets)

Close Geared Transmission - All gears are modified. First gear is taller than stock 2nd gear. 5th gear is 1:1. About 600 rpm drop between gears. LSD. Wevo bearing plate and side cover. Drilled and tapped for trans oil cooler. Based on a 3.2L 915 transmission. Fresh rebuild ($6500)

AIM MXL Pista Dash with GPS module $1500 (includes 2 oil temp sensors, oil pressure sensor) SOLD

I have attached some teaser photos. Let me know what you need more information on.

Thanks

Ed

OK, not really. I plan on still heading into GTS4 though.

Yes, the wing is for sale with or without the decklid. Never actually used. Just sat around for 2 years. I need to get a couple of pictures tonight. Fiberglass

$350 without the decklid and $750 with.

Joe, that is just mean.

Thanks

Ed

Steve, I have not gotten pictures of the wing yet. It is completely dark when I get home and hard to get the pictures. I will get them either Friday or the weekend, but you are first in line on it.

I have updated the original post with what has sold so far and here are a bunch more pictures

Thanks

Ed

Here are pictures of the fiberglass / carbon fiber body that was asked about.

The doors are $500 for the pair SOLD

The hood is $300

The G type front bumper is $450

The front fenders are carbon fiber. They are trimmed right where they would meet the rockers (my car has boxed rockers) $500 SALE PENDING

The rear wing is $750 for the wing and decklid (small cracks in the gelcoat, see photo, from getting moved around the garage too much.

911racer,

Thanks for the pics! I was hoping it was a straight wing like your avatar picture. I am looking for a wing like the Predator wing to put on the back of my 914. I am not sure that wing would work on a car that has the roof drop off like my car does.

Thanks

I do actually have one like that. It was on my 944 that I took from GT to Spec. It is carbon fiber.

I would sell it for $400.

See the pictures here:
