Default Moton arghhh!

So the new guys have no clue of their parts catalog and sent me the wrong parts for such a simple request. Lex's new company can't/won't do moton's (must be a non-compete clause). Someone here must have replaced the O-rings on the shock/canister lines. Who has got some O-rings before I start putting crap in from Harbor Freight and Tool? Anyone? I got CASH. Note to self...buy Penske's.

Thank You!

That sucks. Like Kinesis before them, Moton is done. It's a shame when a mass production company buys a specialty concern.

I don't know who is running it anymore, but SRP is continuing on after Joe (RIP). I've give them a call and they should be able to help http://www.srpengineering.com/

And when your ready for the Penske stuff, call Angelo http://www.anzesuspension.com/

They are just metric orings, they should be very easy to source.
Take the old ones to an automotive shop, napa, hardware store--match the size.

PM sent.
Next time get Motion Control Suspension and then Lex will help you. It's too bad Moton went the way it did but things happen.

I understood that Joes son took over srp engineering, which is a great source for the parts and rebuilding. They definitely have the know how.

Spoke to Lex a few weeks ago and they had shocks in production for some models, website still isn't active yet. I will give him a call and find out what is going on and report back after the weekend, unless someone else beats me too it.

I can't wait for the new stickers, I like the colors of the new company better than the old company.

Default Moton, what a joke.

my Moton shock is at AST, they have no parts to rebuild it, they don't even know if there are parts in europe available or they have to fabricate them to order. Not even a new shock in stock. What a joke, my car won't run any time soon.

AST really screwed up things when the swooped in and bought the Moton name, they really didn't do themselves or Moton any justice.

Bassam, I'll PM you my phone number, give me a call tomorrow during the day and I will try to help you. I might be able to get some results for you depending on the issue. I heard about ECR, sorry.

Well, Ohlins and Penske are you safest bets to be around 5 years from now. I used both Ohlins and Penske on my race bikes and generally preferred the Penske shocks. The Ohlins shocks were more expensive too.

What's the consensus in the car world? Penske or Ohlins?
