Anyone up for a session this afternoon? If I can figure out how, I'll host. Just ran a few laps at RA and I suck! I don't think 1:22s are going to cut it.

I decided to fix my optical encoder and now it won't calibrate at all.

make sure the encoder is not to close to the eye. I recall having the same issue because i pushed the new brass wheel too close.

I've tried moving it up and down. I think maybe the ground wire on the ribbon connector is loose. I'm going to see if I can find a new jumper tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get it fixed before Sunday. What's the time to beat?

Pmason, really sorry my spin ended your race.
I barely brushed the inside curb with my rear tire while on power, and it just snapped the car right around. Once it stopped spinning, the keyboard wouldn't respond for a several seconds, so I was just stuck there on the track

Those tires are hilarious at the end of the race. They stay pretty fast and grippy for the most part.... but then they're like: "You got this, oh yeah, no problem. Come out of this corner hot, we've got you covered..." "KIDDING! enjoy your slide between the concrete barriers! Hope you've got fast hands."

Luke that is fine, part of racing, also part of it was me choosing poorly thinking I could make it around the back side. Had Jim all over my butt and I was thinking he was almost or was along side me on the other side and didn't want to turn into him.

No event race for me but very happy of my 5th position. Had Tony on my tail for a while but he was clearly faster but one lap down, should have I made it easy for him to pass? I didn't want to slow down and lose Vanasse which I was slowly catching.

IMO if the approaching car from behind is clearly faster and the pass would NOT be for position I wouldn't even hesitate to just let him by.

Agree with Jim, if they are not immediately your competitor I would of let them go, this goes for multi class racing too, if they are not in your same class no need to race them and raise the risk level.

Makes sense, will make it a little bit easier next time, he did pass me eventually. I just didn't want to give him the best line when I was gaining.

Same rule applies to Justin.
