Excellent! Now I just need to find time to hop on and fight the urge to upgrade my wheel setup.

So looks like we use the 991 cup these days, how does it compare to the RUF we used to use?

In some respects it's easier. It's a more refined simulation of a cup car, but it's also no longer a GT3 spec car so no more ABS. That's for me the one thing that is the biggest change. You have to be better on the brakes than with the old car. When it's working well for you, it's great, but it is easy to over drive it and then it keeps getting worse and worse as the tires go off.

I just put up a 2hr practice session @ Homestead "A" (this week's course!)

It's under "Hosted" and NOT "Leagues" and is open to the public so there's at least a chance I won't be driving around by myself.

Well the Mobil 1, JMS, Commet.... was a good car, and would have probably finished second, but internet provider connection dropped right at the end of qualifying. By the time we rebooted the modem it was too late... Hats off to the crew.... Just nothing we could of done about that one; probably the cold temps to blame. Hopefully can get them next week. Takes a swig of a Three Floyds Beer as TV camera pans and I walk away (*cough* could be a great sponsor for us *cough*)

Hahaha!

Was wondering what happened to you! Dropped out RIGHT as quali ended... saw you connect, drop, reconnect, drop, several times throughout the race.

Better luck next week I guess? Sebring!

Yea was trying to get in a couple of times to say what happened. However it wouldn’t let me speak or type anything. So I after trying a few times I gave up. Was fustrating no doubt.

Sebring will be interesting next week.

Sebring next week will be epic!

Why are we doing Daytona twice this season (week 2 and week 5)? Would prefer RA or Barber (b/c I actually drive those, of course.)

Traditionally we've had some regulars who actually participate in the 24 (both the real Daytona24 and the iRacing version) and want the practice.

Daytona Night is a bit different than Daytona Day anyways.

Usually not, no... for about the last year the Sunday practices went completely empty, wasn't worth setting them up.

If you want to do Sunday practices, mention it in here a day or so in advance so I catch it. If more than 1 person is interested I'm happy to set one up. I just don't want to keep scheduling empty rooms.

Ugghh... I wish I could race but it seems that iRacing stopped supporting the HTC Vive and now the head tracking is all wonky. Any of you able to use the Vive without issue?

I won't be able to participate tomorrow night. I got something for work.
