LOL I meant to quote Sean. Once again, I shouldn't post from my phone.

So interesting update to the Rift, a Galaxy Note version, but reading it it looks like its a Galaxy Note screen that is in the DK2.

Also looks like a leaked GA date:

I've been in the flatlands of Saskatchewan the last few days. I'd be up for some practices later this week. Oculus rift seems to be working reasonably well for me now, but it's just discomfort that holds me back from longer sessions now.

Give Dramamine a shot. Used it the first few weeks, don't need it anymore.

Sim rig maintenance:
Finally received my new shifter today and while installing it I notice one of the bolts coming loose on the brake pedal. Might need to put together a pre-race nut and bolt check list :-)

After watching this:
...I had to try it, so I ponied up the $35 and bought Assetto Corsa. And... damn... with the Rift? Getting up out of the car? I was laughing out loud. One second, I'm sitting IN a Ferrari F40. A couple seconds later, I'm standing NEXT to a Ferrari F40. And then, after looking at it, when I bent my neck to clear the roof, grabbed the steering wheel to steady myself as my butt slid back down into the seat in my sim rig? Mind = blown.
It's buggy (really buggy) and the interface sucks with the Rift. You have to do a lot of BS to get it to work. But once you're in the car... dude... I'm an iRacing fanboy, no doubt... but AC is pretty damned good. Physics feels just as good/real as iRacing (after playing AC for 2.5 hours tonight I jumped right into iRacing just to see if I noticed any real difference, and didn't). Graphics are a little prettier. Plus it has AI for when you just want to jump in and screw around. Double plus, it has street cars. Kinda fun tossing a loose and sloppy BMW M3 or 1M around!
