Nice! I will vouch that 38D has been on pole a few times back in his 964 Turbo and 964 Cup days (once! once! and it was raining, and he had cheater (e.g., the best) tires!)

Let's also remember, that I was actually on pole for this NJMP race. Gary's Connecticut Stock motor pulled me at the start and it was lights out for me from then on. He was the leader for the double yellow chaos. I was lowly P2 and soon to be P3 when the Bela monster emerged from the pack...

It was a fun race for sure. I was laughing my a$$ off watching things unfold.. Amazing to see the cars "body language" I coud totally see you were steamed.
As far as CT stock, lets not even go there, You of all people know its the drover, not the car. You once too drove the CT stock 964 Cup. ( and yes, it is all legal. I was there when that engine was built too, as I was there for Gary's)

Did I hear a rumor of a new contender in the spec box world? things seem pretty predictable with DrJupeman completely dominating the class.

I have become a superior driver, I just don't do rules well, let's get that straight.

And before anyone gets the wrong idea, I think all of us actually like and respect each other, no?
Charlie, i'm actually feeling a bit slighted by your remark, it's the same motor that you beat me with at Summit last year and every race before that. Why do you call it CT Stock now? Have I ever questioned your skill before? I apologize in advance if I have, your ability is and has never been in question.

Wow, everyone is touchy on the CT stock comment. I thought you guys yourself used that expression. Oh well, I guess I'm not in the club. I love CT stock and have one sitting in my garage. I actually have a RFP planned to send to Dan for a CT stock SPB motor.

Nothing but respect intended.

They found the problem, your cam was so big the intake valves were hitting the crankshaft..
