What can I say, I saw her waving everyone by and right about when I was up to her a light went off - "maybe I should tuck in behind?".. Had a 944 on my right rear quarter and it was too late. Never been #1 during a double yellow and have a pace car come out before! Next time i'll know better and if running with the 944's will expect more double yellows...

Pete, if you like I'll send you the footage in the rain. Prefer not to post it because everyone will be laughing at how slow it was. I think we were turning 2:10's.

Don't make me post video of you passing under the double yellow, too. As the second place car at the time, I was annoyed. Not that it ended up mattering...

I was spectating instead of racing (brake problems) and watched the first Blue Sprint from the T4-T5 grandstand.

A car lost power on the exit of T5. He wasn't too far off track so they threw a local and then the double yellow. I didn't see anyone really slow down under the double yellow and it took forever for the pace car to come out. Worst was when an SP2(?) car tried to PASS(!!!) at T5, locked the his brakes and then hit another car.... all under a double yellow.

Of course if the leaders had slowed down, it might have bunched the field and prevented the 2nd incident.

Could this thread be turning into one of those that made Rennlist so fun a few years back?
